Ellie von Essen is a delightful and so sweet 2 year old long haired German Shepherd. Ellie is the perfect dog for busy people who dream about having a gorgeous German Shepherd, but know they don’t have time to leash train, house train,  and so on. Ellie comes to us with a lengthy list of good habits! She sports all the training already mentioned, plus she can be left alone for periods in the house or yard, all the while maintaining her cool. The kennel is a very different environment for Ellie, so she is a bit shy at first when meeting other dogs, but learns fast and meets them sociably and easily. In playgroups, she walks in carefully but you can literally see her confidence growing when she knows you’ve got her back. If there is any water to be played with, Ellie doesn’t have to be asked twice! On leash, she is a proverbial walk in the park and is very curious about everything around her. Ellie is highly responsive to her people and gladly listens to corrections, but she may be wary of strangers when they come into  your home or outside the home..  She is a bright-eyed, friendly girl, who longs for a shot at a home with people who love her and will stick with her.
